Choices in Life Matter

Many people in this world have so much anger and hatred towards others because of their beliefs, culture, gender, race, jealousy, and political views. Everyone has the ability to make their own choice in life and choose how they respond to things. You can either choose to love or hate, be good or evil, respectful or disrespectful , kind or mean, inspirational or negative, happy or sad, nice or angry, productive or lazy, a leader or follower, no drugs or do drugs, obey or disobey, eat healthy or eat unhealthy, exercise or not, judge others or inspire others. Can you imagine a world where everyone loved each other and used their talents they were given to make this world a better place one good choice at a time? All it takes is making good choices in life. God has given us all the freedom and ability to make choices in life, Good or Evil. How many of you will complain about your life each day or talk negative about others. You do have the ability to choose your attitude in life and how you respond to things. Life is not easy, but your life is what you make it. You have the ability to choose. Please understand that you have consequences that occur with the choices you make. One bad choice can change your life forever. We need to be proactive instead of reactive. We are humans and make mistakes in life.   We need to learn from our mistakes. With so many things going on in our life we get consumed with busy work and forget about what matters most. It is okay to stop what you are doing and just close your eyes and take a deep breath and pray. You will feel so good and at peace after that. Just try it. Stress is a silent killer. Just do your very best each and every day in life and put others first and love all! We can do it if we want to make that good choice. Have a great weekend everyone and be safe. 

Character Counts

What does character mean to you in life? I'm not referring to a symbol for writing. Character is the complex of mental and ethical traits marking and often individualizing a person, group, or nation according to Webster. It is how you act when no one is watching. Like the story of a person who is at a 4 way stop and no one is around and they just run the 4 way stop because they feel that it is okay. It is doing things like checking out at a grocery store and the cashier did not ring up the products under the basket and you feel that it is okay not to pay for it which is stealing. It is when you cheat on your taxes and feel that the government takes enough of your hard earned money and it is okay. Wrong is wrong no matter what excuse you can come up with. People seem to feel that they are entitled to certain things because of what happened in the past? Greed is destroying this great nation and no matter if you get caught or not you will always have to answer to a higher power.  Character counts so much in your life and you make the choice to either do the right thing or the wrong thing. Just remember your actions matter in life. I feel that most people in life know what is right from wrong. We are given the freedom to make choices in our life and choose the character traits that represent us. This was taught to us in elementary school. What type of legacy do you want to leave behind? Character is such an important trait in our life and you get to decide weather you want to be good or evil. I would say that character does matter in life and just remember someone is always watching you. Make Good Choices and your life will be good. Have a great day everyone!

Peace or Strife

Did you know that when Jesus left this earth, He gave us peace if we wanted it. Now the choice we have to make is, are we going to choose to live in the peace he has given us?

We all know, the devil works constantly to try to get you upset. Why? Because he knows that if you don't remain peaceful, you can't hear from God.

If you look at your life, you'll be amazed at how many times a week Satan launches an attack against you for the sole purpose of stealing your peace.

That is so true! When the devil tries to steal my peace, I do my very best, not to let that happen, knowing that I'm getting the better of him. That doesn't mean I don't feel upset, but I can do something positive about it, I can control myself and be peaceful for a purpose.

Being peaceful is something we have to do for ourselves. What will your choice be? Peace or Strife

Attitude is Everything

We all are given the opportunity to make a choice to have either a positive or negative attitude in life. I always try to look at the good in everyone and focus on the positives rather then the negatives. It seems that everywhere I go, I hear people talking negative about their friends and family and it just stirs the pot and forms gossip. My grandmother always said if you don't have anything nice to say about someone, then keep your mouth shut. It is okay to give people constructive criticism and point out things to help them. We have enough evil in this world and the only way we can make this world a better place one good choice at a time is by making a good choice by having a positive attitude in life. It is okay to be nice! I was told that I would never make it as a manager because I was always too nice to people. I laugh at those negative comments and look at my career at Publix when I was a District Manager at the age of 34. I always did my best to lead by inspiration rather then intimidation. I tried to be the manager that I always wanted to work for. My role model is Jesus and he is a leader not a manager. He always sees in good in everyone no mater their race, gender, beliefs, or culture. My challenge to you is to be a positive person in this world and see the good in people.
